Standard Ledger uses a backend system, Karbon, to receive, manage and escalate inbound emails and assign tasks between our team so they’re being handled by the right person, and we’re accountable to get back to you and provide the response and service you need in a timely manner.

As a bookkeeping client, you'll receive a weekly update email from your customer from your Customer Service Manager each week that will highlight that we've completed your processing and whether there are any queries we need a response on (See How our Bookkeeping Services work FAQ for more information on this).

While we deliver on our promise of weekly bookkeeping, we know that there are times when you have questions / responses because of weekly updates or just randomly.  So if you want to get in touch with us we encourage you to streamline things by using the emails above or feel free to simply respond to any emails you receive from us as well. You’ll also see further building out of our Knowledge Base.

As we aim to respond quickly, don't be surprised to see an email sent to one person, for example, being answered by other team members. Rest assured, if needed your questions will be escalated through as necessary.

Here are the email communication channels we’re putting in place for you to send the various questions you may have.  If in doubt just send to the generic email support@standardledger.co and we’ll take it from there. 

If you like processes and pictures as much as I do, this is shown pictorially in more detail below so you can put faces to the names of the team looking after you.

Need more specific advice?

We understand from time to time that you may need more specific advice from Remco or Michael.  

If you're a client to whom we're providing ongoing bookkeeping, tax, R&D or CFO services, please Book an Appointment to schedule a call/skype back.

If you're one of our early stage "DIY" clients, we offer paid telephone consultation services with our principal’s, charged at $90 (incl GST) per half hour. You can book and pay here:

  • Remco  30min 60min (for accounting, operations, R&D and CFO matters)
  • Michael 30min 60min (for tax, structuring, valuation and CFO matters)
